Repeating his winning effort of barely three months back, Korea's Haeng-Jik Kim won his second World Cup, this time in his home country in Cheongju City, Korea. Rarely does a player win back-to-back world cups. Caudron did in 2016 but before that it was Jaspers in 2008! Kim has surely established himself as one of the greats and is destined to achieve many more milestone achievements in his already illustrious career.

Young Spanish player Carlos Anguita, to the delight of his countrymen (and women!) won the 2017 Three Cushion World Championship for Juniors. Held in the city Los Narejos, Spain the event was filled with drama and excitement.

Marco Zanetti has once again proven why he is one of the world's top 3-cushion billiard players. His latest feat was topping a strong field in Seoul Korea in the LG U+ Cup, the most lucrative tournament in all of 3-cushion billiards. Zanetti becomes the first European player to win the annual event.
