The Union Mondiale de Billard (UMB) is the governing body for 3-cushion billiards worldwide. Every year they hold a series of events attracting the greatest players from every region around the globe. These World Cup events represent the strongest competition of world-class players offering the largest prize funds in the sport. Equally important is the chance for players to earn ranking points, which enable the top twelve at any time to automatically seed into the main tournament of the current World Cup event.
