The Netherlands' Dick Jaspers has added the $50,000 first place prize to his growing list of accomplishments as he wins the third installment of the 3C Masters Survival tournament held in Guri Korea. The Dutchman's win follows the previous two installments of this new format, won by Eddie Merckx and Dani Sanchez, and further adds to the European players dominance in International competition.

Germany's Martin Horn returns to the world's top stage in 3-cushion billiards in defeating Korean Jae Ho Cho 40-39 in a nail-biter final match to win the La Baule (France) World Cup. This was the second world cup title for the great German champion.

Dick Jaspers of the Netherlands proved best of all in the 2018 3-Cushion World Championship held in Cairo, Egypt October 2-6, 2018. The Dutch superstar and now world number two ranked player defeated Jeremy Bury of France in an epic final match that went all the way to a shootout to determine the winner.

South Korean billiard phenom Myung-Woo Cho, in his final appearance as a junior, has won his second world title in the September 2018 tournament held in Izmir, Turkey, In the process he confirmed his position as one of the best players in the world, set several records along the way, and gave us all a prelude of what is to come as he continues his career on the International 3-cushion billiard scene as an adult.
